CIP
Conception, Industrialisation and Production
The Design, Industrialisation and Production (CIP) division covers all phases in the life cycle of complex, innovative products, product decision-making and the management of production systems. These activities cover product development (from innovation support to solution optimisation), industrialisation (integrating approaches to costs, manufacturing, tooling and operating ranges) through to production (with operational excellence approaches, through internal and external company management, integrating the supply chain and all stages of value creation), as well as all the digital tools used to represent, simulate or evaluate systems based on digital mock-ups of products or processes.
Its activities incorporate multi-disciplinary skills and extensive specialist knowledge in mechanics, energy, automation, manufacturing and materials, as well as knowledge, models and indicators relating to the industrial organisation and performance of production systems, in a context of developing eco-designed products and responsible, sustainable production systems. The course covers manufacturing industries as well as the energy and health sectors.
