The governance of the Carnot ARTS Institute (iC ARTS) is organised around three instances.

The Steering Committee (CoPIl)
The CoPil is made up of the institute’s 20 laboratory directors, 10 industrial representatives and members of the CoDir. it meets at least twice a year to supervise the allocation of Carnot funding and analyse the results of resourcing projects funded by Carnot. It discusses and proposes the strategic scientific and technological orientations of the iC ARTS.
The Strategic Orientation Committee (CoS)
The COS is made up of representatives from the institute’s 15 support institutions, plus a representative from the Agence Nationale de la Recherche, a representative from the Association des instituts Carnot and members of the CoDir. It meets once a year to analyse the results of the past year and approve the orientations for the coming year proposed by the CoPil. It acts as a link between the institute and all its parent institutions.
